We view acting as a language of discovery, co-creation, research, and self-awareness – a way to connect with oneself, others, and the world, and to immerse oneself in new forms of interaction. Like any living language, it is sensitive and evolves over time, acquiring new meanings, enriched by fresh experiences, incorporating new methods, and revealing its unique findings. And, like any language, it can be applied across different realities and areas of life.

We have designed this course to be a flexible and responsive system of fundamental knowledge, tools, and practical acting skills that support the professional development and growth of an actor. It also massively transforms the lives of those who seek to express themselves and live a conscious, harmonious, and fulfilling life, providing the skills to adapt to various circumstances and effective practices for restoring personal resources.

Our desire and intention to share practical experience resulted into an acting course that extends beyond the purely theatrical realm, continuing to prove its practical value in everyday life amidst turbulent times.

Who this course is for:
For everyone who wishes to develop expressiveness, charisma, self-confidence, sensitivity, empathy, quick thinking, adaptability, and interpersonal skills, all of which are cultivated through acting.
For those who appreciate an adaptive approach and high-quality acting training, the development of independent, strong characters, bringing out the unique natural talents, and a supportive and inspiring creative environment united by common values and purpose.

Duration of the course:
Three semesters, each 5-6 months long, with classes held twice a week – one weekday and one weekend – for two hours.
At the end of each semester, there will be a performance for an audience.

How the training is conducted:
Live acting workshops in the studio, combined with online meetings and lectures via Zoom.
You will train your body, mind, and emotions just as professional actors do.
You will study the theory and engage in the practice of acting skills.
You will learn to become the best version of yourself while embracing the different facets of who you are.

Immersion inещ profession

This course is a long-term commitment: three semesters, each lasting 5-6 months. Its aim is to provide each participant with high-quality acting knowledge and skills that can be applied in both professional acting and in everyday life. During the course and after its completion, participants have access to additional activities and masterclasses if desired. The course offers the support of a community, the pleasure of communicating and collaborating, the opportunity to express and create beauty through engagement, inspiration, support, and a warm, welcoming environment.

Experienced trainers

The instructors for this course are theatre and film actors and directors, who continuously deepen and update their knowledge and refine their skills. We also invite experts in directing, cinema and theatre production, casting directors, philosophers, writers, and more. We believe in the importance of the holistic development of the actor, the individual, and the person. Our students are successful in life, film, and theatre. We are inspired by the process of creation. We are practitioners — we create films, performances, and individuals renewed through the craft of acting.

Plenty of practice

The theoretical and training components of the course are logically reinforced with intensive practice: individually, through video and audio recordings of oneself, and in group sessions through etudes, monologues, performances, and experiments on our studio stage. Our own studio stage, equipped with sound and theatrical lighting, also provides opportunities for learning teamwork during the theatrical production process. At the end of each semester, a performance is held for an audience, allowing students to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the course. You will learn how to engage with an audience in the context of live performance — an experience every actor should have.

The course consists of 3 semesters, each lasting 5-6 months.There is a final performance for an audience at the end of each semester/

  • Do I need an acting experience to participate in the course?

    No, it is not required. This course is for anyone who dreams of acting, of self-development through acting tools. Come, and we will teach you. :)

  • Will this course be useful if I don’t dream of performing on stage?

    Yes, it will be useful because this is a modern, innovative course where you will gain a unique experience of engaging with the acting profession. You will acquire skills that will allow you to manage your inner and outer space. You will learn to act and improvise both on stage and in life.

  • Will I have a chance to act in a play?

    Yes. A monologue and/or etude performances are the part of every semester's programme, and a drama play is a graduation work of the course, and you will be prepared for it.

  • Will I receive a certificate upon completing the course?

    After successfully completing the course, passing all practical tasks, and completing the final project, you will receive a certificate.

Before FCA:- I was the one who felt helpless and lost any desire to move forward.- I was the one who had already worked in top companies in my field, reached the "ceiling" in my career growth, and did not understand where to go next.- I was the so-called happy father of two children and a happy husband to a beautiful wife, yet I didn't understand why I had some unrecognized inner restlessness.With all this baggage, I felt helpless more and more often, and the question kept coming up to myself: "What is wrong with you?" and "What are you missing?!"
This is where, perhaps, an ending point should be placed—a long, drawn-out period leading to some sort of nothingness or forgetfulness. But no!Because, in 2021-2022, Fortune brought me to Misha Kostrov Studio of Acting, with Olenka Vakhramieieva and Yevhen Amador, and everything started...
What now, after three courses of FCA? Should admit, everything is pretty much the same as it was: family, work, plans, life, only I'm new! It's like you were walking through a desert, walking for a long time, got tired, and lost hope, and decided to stray from the standard route, only to find an oasis behind the nearest dune. Everything around is still the same desert, only now you are filled with strength, inspiration, and love for any new path in the whirlpool of life.

Here, they create such colorful and fragrant atmospheres that would be simply unreachable without the thorough practice of exercises, drills, and performances, and the key ingredient is the partners—their temperament, character, uniqueness, experience, sincerity, honesty, and perseverance.
FCA is a regular search for new horizons in oneself and in partners, new intertwining of emotions, creating unique atmospheres.
You are both director and co-director and role performer, on stage you can become whoever you wish, a king, an angel, or a beggar, any animal, a tree or a flower, a river or a mountain, a morning steppe or the rising sun itself.

A meeting with your true self
One day, I found FCA. And I realized that it was exactly what I needed ❤️
Acting classes brought about changes in me as a person. I became more attentive to my feelings and the feelings of others. The techniques and exercises included in the course helped reduce anxiety levels, develop attention, self-awareness, and understanding of myself and the people around me. I began to notice things I hadn't seen before, understood what it meant to be “here and now,” in the moment. I felt what it meant to truly “live through” emotions and had the opportunity to meet my true self. What a joy...
This greatly changed my view of theater and acting: to live, not just to perform, to feel, not just to show. And this realization affected my reactions and attitudes in everyday life—at work, with my family, with friends. Because the experience I gained became a path to creating myself and my life. To create as I see, as I feel. To control when necessary. And to sound, express, observe... and see, live.
I am happy that I found VAK. It happened in life that society layered rules of behavior so much that at some point, these layers became like a chainmail, preventing me from moving freely and even breathing. Until the moment when I stopped recognizing myself.
The universe responds to intentions. That’s how FCA appears.
And for me personally, it wasn’t a journey that has ended. Rather, it became the starting point. Because not all layers have been removed, not all permissions given to myself. But I certainly have a compass and a tool.
And there's also a peninsula of absolute acceptance, freedom, and Love. For me, it’s a peninsula. Because FCU is not separated from the mainland; it is a beautiful continuation of it, bathed in powerful energies.
